ABOUT RONELLE STANKUS
In over 20 years in the business world, assisting advertising and fundraising companies as well
as non-profits, I’ve honed my talents and acquired skills which, as the owner of “My Business VA”, I
am excited to have the opportunity to employ in the support of business owners, entrepreneurs,
artists and artisans. My goal is to make your work life easier and run more efficiently, and to get
jobs done for you in less time and for less cost than an in-house staff. I provide a wide variety of
services and share time saving strategies, saving you the cost of employee benefits and payroll,
equipment purchase and repair, and other overhead associated with a traditional a brick and
mortar office space. In this leaner economy, it makes good business sense to go “virtual” for
administrative support.
As a person with a drive to continue learning and growing, I have continually increased my skills
through classes, participation in workshops and seminars, as well as practice in the workforce and
volunteer positions with various organizations. As a volunteer, I have held office positions,
published articles, created and edited newsletters, and participated on finance, event planning and
a variety of other of committees with many different people.
My career in administrative support positions has given me opportunities to do, among other things,
a great deal of AP/AR work, hold the position of banking coordinator for 100+ accounts, and
introduce Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheet program into the workplace, creating templates and forms
and training others in its use. With this program, the rest of Microsoft’s office suite, Intuit’s
QuickBooks Pro, and other programs and applications, I can efficiently take charge of your support
needs, freeing up the time you need to work on building your business, your client base or your
own skills, or to play a round of golf or spend more time with your family.
One of the advantages of being a Virtual Assistant is that I get to use all of my skills by working in
partnership with you, the business owner, to find where my abilities fill the gaps in your
organization. I get a variety of projects and tasks and you get someone who enjoys her work and is
not limited by a “job description”. You never hear “that’s not my job” from a VA.
